ēst is a contemporary restaurant showcasing modern French cuisine, captivating cocktails, and an exceptional wine selection. Located in the heart of the vibrant Riverside neighborhood on Queen Street East, Toronto, ēst delivers an elevated dining experience that celebrates bold flavors and refined simplicity.
We are currently open six days a week. Open on Sunday, Tuesday and Wednesday from 5pm - 10pm, Thursday to Saturday from 5pm - 11pm, Saturday & Sundays brunch from 10am - 3pm and closed on Mondays. For our walk-In guests, our a-la-carte menu and tasting menus are both available. For private events and group bookings of up to 30 guests, please contact us directly at contact@estrestaurant.ca
Our tasting menu offers a traditional four-course experience, with the option to add a wine pairing to complement your meal. With advance notice, we can accommodate substitutions for guests with intolerances, allergies, or dietary preferences.

Chef Jordan Diniz
Owner | Executive Chef
Chef Jordan Diniz is the visionary behind ēst Restaurant, an intimate dinner and cocktail venue in Toronto's Riverside neighborhood. With a strong foundation in culinary arts, Jordan graduated from George Brown College's Italian Culinary Arts program, in partnership with ALMA, one of Italy’s most prestigious culinary schools. His career includes experience at Michelin-starred restaurants in Abruzzo and Piemonte, Italy, where he refined his skills and deepened his appreciation for sustainable and innovative cuisine.
Before opening ēst, Jordan was the Executive Chef and Owner of Novus Fine Dining, a highly regarded catering company in the Greater Toronto Area, known for its custom tasting menus and exceptional dining experiences. Jordan's lifelong passion for cooking drives his commitment to creating memorable, delicious meals that reflect his culinary journey and dedication to excellence.
Chef Dominic Fidilio
Chef de Cuisine
Chef Dominic Fidilio, originally from Pickering, Ontario, discovered his passion for cooking in a food-focused family environment. He has known Jordan Diniz, the owner of ēst Restaurant, since junior kindergarten, sharing a lifelong connection that eventually led them to collaborate professionally. In 2016, Dominic attended George Brown College, where he participated in the postgraduate Italian Culinary Arts program. This opportunity took him to ALMA, a prestigious culinary school in Emilia-Romagna, Italy, where he completed a stage under Michelin-starred Chef Stelios Sakalis.
After graduating in 2019, Dominic returned to Toronto and worked at Canoe Restaurant for over a year. He then joined Novus Fine Dining as a Sous Chef before advancing to his current role as Chef de Cuisine at ēst Restaurant in Toronto.
